what's the point of a data terminal? I don't know what it does.

a data terminal has no functionality the main purpose of them is to be used as signs imho.

i use them to name rooms in our pa hall and soon to be opened superstore.

I have 4 or 5 on my vendor right now if you like. Just do a search under housing for Jerhal Furniture Emporium. It's on Tattoine right between Anchorhead and Bestine. If you need them to be named something specific just sendJerhal a mail and I'll put them up. Hope that helps.
