I'm using several of the veteran reward holograms to decorate my vendor shop, and I'm stuck for an idea. I want to place several of them up off the floor, on some type of thin vertical pedestal (like you'd see in a museum). Anyone have an idea of what I could use for the pedestal? The trick is getting something wide enough to not look wrong sitting under the hologram base, but still looking thin enough not to be the focal point of the piece.

Containers worked quite well. Thanks for the suggestion. The base fits almost exactly onto the top. What worked even better for me, though, was the Bantha Hide lamp. If you line things up properly, the hologram base disappears entirely into the lamp. It gets the hologram up higher, but isn't as obtrusive as two containers stacked.

What I did with my TIE Fighter hologram was to place it in the center of the Hologram Tech console (I think it was the tech console. The four sided console with the holographic panes (as opposed to the version that doesn't have the holographic panes)). When the light nerf hit, I discovered that something was putting out a purple light in the room, and now my workshop looks like a command bunker Command and Control room.

With the TIE in the middle, it appears to be a tactical display. Hmm, I bet the ISD would be better for that...

I used the Glass Table. I buried the base of the Death Star one in that.

I've also used toolchests for similar effects (with the "drawer" side facing the wall).

I set up a droid workshop when i was making droids (got rid of DE now), i wanted to display my R-Type droids and found that the master level chest *square white one) made a perfect plynth for them.

I'm currently using sove slave brazier as stands for some of my holograms since by themselves, they look like pieces of junk, and not nice collectable junk.

its highly expensive and i am still having trouble sleeping at night, but i used a.......hard to think about it.....

A POB only ship reactor. OUCH. man, still hurt from using it but it looks awsome as a display stand.

Its totatly worthless item constructed, buy the resources used in it would have sold for a nice chump of change.

For anyone who wants to see what they look like, either find a SW who has one sitting around collecting dust or.....

Go to TC-prime, visit Talus and find the town called Friend. its an outpost at this time and is just south of the fire on the cube in the lake south of Nashal. Beautiful drive there, but i digress. The display is in the guild hall with a Corvette and a Lambda shuttle holos on them.

Sorry i don't have a waypoint, i'm at work.

the village reward pieces for the art piece...grr cant atm think of what its called but has 4 sections..apart each makes a great display for holos . Or can make them stand at top of a reinforced combat staff as i have used that to display other things as well. Can use arch modules..the gray ones..cover opening at top with imperial rug..then place holos over that..looks awesome
