How long have you been at it? It will take a while to get everything figured out. If you have questions or need advice we can help with that.

For people on Chilastra specifically are you looking for a mentor or what?

My first suggestion would be - become a Master Artisan. Yes, you may have to give up some other things, but about 90% of the components you need as a Master Architect are made by a Master Artisan - some of them require you to be less than a Master Artisan, but a couple need Master Artisan status. If that is not feasible, then make friends with a Master Artisan or some kind of business arrangement with one. You also need to find a Master Droid Engineer - he/she makes a couple of components you also need.

Second suggestion - make friends with a Miner who can do harvesting for those resources you need.

Third suggestion - make friends with a Hunter who can kill those critters whose resources you need.

Fourth - I found that a good way to get started as an Architect was to put items on the bazaar and in their description area when you list them put an advertisement. You need to get the word out that you are in business.

Regarding factory made items - remember, you can make only 3 items in your factory if you want, thereby not making items you won't use.

Good luck, and welcome to the Architect Profession!

Try to avoid buying all your resources initially. You're usually in the red when you're first starting out, so anything that can decrease your costs is worthwhile unless you have money to burn.
