theres another thread going on about this right now, but it seems to be includeing conversation on droped weps as aposed to schems the limited uses themselfs.

Now before i say anything elseim not against loot drops, especialy enhancements, components i think are fine for most weps if only to stop factory runs of 1000s at a time.

The thing i really want to know is are you all happy with the limited use schems, i see a lot of odd comments on them, but unless i missed it theres no real consencus on here.

To clarify my point i just want to know if you would be happierlearning a schem once and always haveing it, this way you would still need the loot components for any of the new weps, so we couldent mass produce them, but we would always have the schematic.

my reasons for this are basicaly the normal,

1) it makes no sence forgeting how to make something.

2) people know how many uses are in the schem and always want them all made for themselfs - i personaly like to have well stocked vendors, not live on custom orders to make money

3) some of them such as the geno pistol sell for 5-12mill for the schem - i dont care how you aruge it, if i pay that for the schem im selling that gun for more than its really worth

4) with the new patch 1 use schems i feel more like im just there to assemble peoples drops for them more than to craft

5) why the hell should all these schems i cant remember for some reason be better than my master ones?

so how do you all feel? should schems be used once and youv learned it? or do you all prefer it the way it is?

It would be nice to have something permenant on the datapad. The schems being dropped is not that much of a problem for me since I have combat skills also.

1. I agree

2. Special orders don't bother me with these schems. The DXR 6 rifles have several uses where I can make a profit. I charge a little cash and identical power cubes to make special orders, that way I can make 1-3 to sell on my vender.

3. Dev's cant control how much people are going to sell them for. Player greed in this game knows no bounds. Many think the measure of their greatness is the size of their bank account.

4. True, but, you can always tell them you need more of the identical components that are needed so you can make a factory run and atleast maybe get 3 or 4 guns out of the schematic.

5. Because the loot mongers want to have it all, their personal crafting slave, the best of everything and the best has to be looted because that is the way it should be. (In their minds)

Except for the DXR6-b, lootusually does not result in an advantage as to weaponry for the user and it slows me way down as to production. First, there are all the /tells...literally hours spent trying to explain the ins & outs of what they have and what choices exist. Then the time it takes to go trade on the loot (why they NEVER offer it to my vendor is a puzzle). Next there is dodging all the moderate exp, failed exp, and crit fails .... and the long /tells explaining the ones that get trashed in that way. Don't forget the houses ya can't hardly craft in because they are filled to overflowing trying to hold all the guild loot. AND of course all the long spatial conversations trying to explain why this "treasure" is not as good as whats on the vendor.

I can produce more weapons of a higher grade if these distractions did not exist. My game play would be richer without all these negatives. My customers would ultimately be happier because a)they will have better weapons and b)they experience fewer dissappointments.I for one would like to see them removed from the game.

Hello, I'm a new architect and I am having problems finding any info on where I get the limited use schematics for the couches and tables and other architect schematics. If anyone can help me, thank you =)

I have been trying myself to get a list of those things, and I am a Master Architect. Try looking on the bazaar for them. I know that the Blue Couch is one... there is also the Cafe Table, and several of the elegant or stylish desks, cabinets and what not. I get my blue couches and half moon cafe tables from my friends that hunt at the imperial prison (i think that is where it is). Try to find a group that goes there to grind. Those Imps drop those things like hot cakes. At least they do on Intrepid. Not sure about Starsider, as I have a MArchitect on both servers.

Post CU have made these schematics rarer due to the hindsight of DEVs .
Pre CU ,you would have seen all the schematics on the bazaar in large quantities.
Best bet will be use vendor search and then expecting to pay silly amounts for them since they have become rare

hmm ¿

horder of rare items
