i can't redeed a house because it says there is still an item in the house. i've searched the house from top to bottom and tried the "find Lost Items" option and "delete all items" option with no luck. there seems to be nothing in this house but the structure terminal says there is still one item. how do i fix this so i can redeed my house?

Are you the owner or just an admin? I heard admins can't perform those functions even though it lists it for them.

Also, I would suggest submitting CSR ticket, even though it probably won't get answered.

We had this problem in our town and just decided to let the maintenance run out, but on anything other than a small house, it would be a large price to pay.
