Hey,
I have a friend that can't seem to make a crafting station with a fuctionality rating higher than 14? The copper she uses to build them has near 1000 CD. What is preventing her from aming higher lvl crafting stations with around 45 functionality? Thanks

Using conductivity 998 copper, I've seen them get to 14.94 via experimentation.
If you want to push them higher, you need to add the optional components. And those components need to be at least in the 80s (percentage) in order to pay off.
There is a spreedsheet that was just posted that helps you figure this all out.

actually, the way the subcomponents work is like this...
50% is the break even point. (no effect at 50%)
Below 50%, and they will LOWER the functionality rating.
Above 50%, and they will IMPROVE the functionality rating.
I'd suggest you check out the crafting assistant spreadsheet if you want to know how good or bad a station you can make.
