Since I just got bitten - DO NOT leave items on your vendor until the sale ends. You will not receive your "sale cancelled" auto-email, and the item will vanish after 14 days. From what I've read, this is a bug with the new 30-day vendor sales.

I need to cry now.

Haven't noticed this. I just restocked a bunch of stuff after getting the auction has ended unsuccessfully email.

I was just about to post about this. I learned of this yesterday after someone posted on my server's forum, and it's all over the Merchant forum.

You're right. The issue comes with items that you sell directly from your inventory, which get the new 30-day time limit. The problem is that when they instituted the 30-day timer, they neglected to remove the old code that deleted items after 14 days (7 days on the vendor with the old 7-day timer + 7 days in the stockroom). So, any items that were newly listed and got the 30-day timer have been DELETED after 14 days - without ever passing over to the stockroom.. just poof. Tons of people have lost a fortune in items.. sometimes millions. This has especially hit the people who moved to player cities after the patch - justover 14 days ago - who set up new vendors.. or really anyone who re-listed their items to take advantage of the 30-day timer.

I never get the vendor sale emails, so I'm trying to figure out if I sold a ton of items over the last couple of days or if it poofed. I'm just glad that I never got around to stocking the high-value harvesters and structures on my vendors.

On a side note, anything that you sell directly from the stockroom is only getting a 7-day sale timer, but it should be "safe" as long as you re-sell it from the stockroom before 7 days if it expires.

So, the recommendations are that you either withdraw all of your sales and do them only from the stockroom (probably the best solution), or just take everything off of your vendor (very impractical for storage space). The devs suggested that this won't be fixed until the next publish (i.e., whenever vehicles come out), so this could be catastrophic for tons of people.

I don't get it.....I have stuff on my vendor with 6 days left.....which means they've been up for 24 days....why are they still there? I must be missing something

You probably re-sold them directly from your stockroom in the last day or so, which is why they're on a 7-day timer. I believe that the patch that introduced the 30-day timer was on November 13 - not even 3 weeks ago yet - so it's not possible that anyone could have had items on a vendor for 24 days straight, even without this bug.
