... and there it went again! Inched up 30 over 10 minutes, then jumped a nice solid 700... again, without any action on my part...

Well, looks like I'll be macro sampling now, just to make sure I stay logged in!

I'm almost afraid to ask this, as it is a very convenient problem to have... but...

For the last three hours or so my 2/2/2/0 architect character has been accumulating what appears to be usage XP at a pretty nice clip (it seems like it is about 1k every 10 minutes; certainly I've picked up 20k since I logged on.)

I cannot imagine that this is normal - is anyone else seeing anything similar? For the record, I sell tons of furniture, but almost no buildings (two houses so far), and the only harvesters I've sold so far are from the artisan line... so the increases must be coming from the furniture...?

I haven't logged off since I noticed this and to be honest I'm kind of inclined not to. Although it does feel a little cheap, if this is not how usage XP is really expected to work.

Hm... it's slowed down a bit now, of course it's getting pretty late... but still, over the past 10 minutes:

1) I did not sell a thing
2) I made two small pieces of furniture for a total of 290 XP
3) I recieved 257 XP just for being me.

I'm wondering how usage XP on furniture would be calculated anyhow... is it anytime someone touches it? Anytime it is 'loaded'? Because the chunks certainly come in unevenly (one minute I'll get 15 XP, the next minute 140.)

Very odd indeed... has anyone tried to calculate usage XP before?

I have a clothing and armor factory that I use for my armorsmithing, but no structure factory. And it's not running right now.

So last night I did log out, and found this morning that I had racked up another 6k of XP overnight. Neat, apparently my character crafts in his sleep...

Also of interest is the fact that:
a) During this same time, although I have sold more armor than furniture, I received ZERO armorsmith XP.
b) Currently, I am accumulating Architect XP more quickly than Merchant XP, with three vendors out. I think it's only because I got used to just occasionally checking on Merchant XP that I even noticed this... Granted, Merchant takes a lot less XP to level, but still...

Is ANYONE else seeing anything similar, or is Auld (the char in question) just experiencing some kind of timewarp anomaly?
