Thread: Wall quality?
Hey guys, this might have been answered before, but please humor me anyway ![]()
I know you can experiment on walls but not on structure models...
Do the qualities of the resources used to make wallsor structure modules affect the BER of a harvestor? I'm askingbecause I don't want to waste my good resources if it doesn't reallly make a difference.
Thanks for your time.
While we are on the subject, what about generator turbines, structure storage modules etc. and experimental rates on them? For example if I have a crit experiment on a generator turbine will it matter if i have a 98% ore mining unit?
No.
The only things that matter are the mining unit (or fluid or whatever) and the resources used in the final assembly.
Don't use chemical that has ANY UT, SR or HR stats, use lub oil or the likes with no such stats, it then won't get factored into the average resource rating for them.
Yea I didnt know this til a couple of days ago. LOL of course I'm stocked up on polymers / fiberplasts. /shrug. At least lub oil is usually pretty cheap. At least until everyone knows you can use it and not have it count against your outcome.
...or until they change it.
Yeah, all that matters is the mining or fluidic or whatever, plus the stuff in your final combine.
Structure modules, turbines etc matter not at all.
