Thread: Question on How to Craft BER-10 harvs

I am going to be going up the Installations line in a few days and I was wondering what I need to do/use to make BER-10 mediums, specifically Flora Farms. Is it based soley on resources? If so, what stats should I look for?

Yes, I have checked the FAQ - Is there a more in-depth walkthrough on how to make BER-10's? That's what I was looking for.

It's based on the experimentation of components (ore mining/fluidic drives, etc) and the quality of the resources that you use. These are spelt out so many times in here it's not funny. You must not of looked very hard is all I can say.

And to end this, here is what you need:


1. steel with high UT, SR and HR stats, all over 900 is best and UT is the most important one


2. lubricating oil, any quality


3. low grade ore of decent quality in the same stats as the steel (7-800+ is enough)


4. a generator turbine, a small structure storage module and 3 structure modules (stats don't matter at all for these, use any material that fits in the slots)

4b. for anything else than mineral or moisture varporator BER10s, swap structure modules for wall modules


5. craft the fluidic drilling pump/light ore mining unit/harvesting mechanism with the good steel and use lube oil for the chemical components. experiment it up to 90%+, the more the better.


6. craft the harvester using your good ore and steel, again use lube oil if chemicals are needed, experiment on efficency until you get ber10 (80%-ish)


7. use the rest on hopper size but beware of crit errors here (will decrease it to ber9)


8. harvest

You might need to be a master architect or at least very close to it. Key ingredient for maximum BER is having all 10 of the structure experimentation points.
