I have seen some players post that a Cross Server Swap Nerf is imminent. As I have swapped some lots for extra harvestors this is obviously important to me so I can prepare for the changes. What if anything has been said regarding this topic?

Sounds good either way, sounds like wejust need to logon every other month or so to maintain your harvestors lot trades. To me the houses are a totally seperate discussion as they can be used to inflate a cities headcount.. of course you pay for it, so I dont actually have any problems with doing it. But anyway thanks for the help.

Cross server lot trading does not violate the EULA, (if anyone has actualy read that) so Sony couldnt possibly nerf it without telling us in advance.

This nerf is specifically written for player cities. The whole I can't log into SWG every 30 days is lame and an obvious ploy to prevent this. The reason this nerf is necessary is there are current limitations on the amount of cities on a planet, and the number of certain size cities. for example a legit guild city on correlia may never get to become a strong hold because the limit for strongholds is 3 on that planet, which hinders the cities advancement and growth, but one of the current strongholds might be a hardworking politician who has lined up like 25 cross residence trades where a good bit of the people don't even play on the server.

It is not on the notes, but it was mentioned on the TC boards twice. I have been looking as well. I BELIEVE, but cannot verify, that this rumor got started because residences in cities will be de-certified as residences for toons that have not logged in over a 3 week period.

Basically it just harms cities, especially if a large amount of their citizens plan on going on a month hiatus for any number of reasons (army, long planned vacation, become amish, get kidnapped, death in the family 3 states over, anything) and is creating a bit of a pain for the ghost cities. It doesn't truly stop lot swapping, (not at all outside of cities) just makes it more inconvenient.

I wish we had a dev or TH response to this issue. I'm pretty certain that I heard this only changes citizenship status. I also heard that it means you have to log into galaxies, not every character.
