Thread: Is 400K for a generic PA hall on Starsider a good price?
I wont give you my opinion on price.
What I will say is when buying something that expensive it would be a good idea to shop around a bit. I dont thinkI would buy anything that large until I talked to at least 3 Masters.
Different servers have different economies, so it is hard to say.
400k is around what I charged, but I don't make PA Halls anymore, no one wants to pay for them, and they are too much of a paid in the crit. I used to charge 350k and people had fits.
300-600k is what I see
I charge 400k and 465 for the generics (take more resources)

Only doing this because a guy named Roga on our server is selling planet specific Pa Halls for 190k and Generics for 205k. I don't advertise and don't nor,ally solicit business..tired of getting tells..how much for a Fusion Generator? I reply " 110k" they reply **edit** you are a rip off!!! I can get it for 90k from Roga.
wow I charge 180 for my fusions... (5 cpu plus a little more for factory parts)... I might sell half of what others sell but I make the same and have a lot more resources 
I always explain my prices first by how much cpu I charge and how many resources it takes and then total prices..... Usually to get the "**edit** you are a rip off" half time get ok how soon? and im going to look around and get back to u..

Ya, but don't start off a quote with a number like that. Stick with what you think you should charge. You're spot on what I charge for heavies. I only give dscounts off that for repeat customers. 20k difference isn't exactly a ripoff, combat chars can do that in 15 minutes. Why is your time worth less?

550k for a generic

If you don't believe yourPA worth the money tobuy mydeeds by all means find another architect who can add you too a5 day waiting list for300k. I don't undercut myself anymore. I believe my work to be worth what I charge. I believe my Architect's value is worth more then unit cost.

I fully believe our wares our worth the prices we ask. I was asking 300k for planet specific and 320k for generic. 180k for Fusion 110-120 for all heavy harvs. 40k for factories. I'm all for competitive pricing don't get me wrong. Just a little frustrated at the moment.
Okay, I completely understand, but when you do drop below that level, it's hard to raise prices again, and you're contributing, if not on purpose, to the reason people exclaim ripoff when you quote. Watch the Starsider forums, alot of my orders come off of there. I did five heavy harvs the other day, pulled my business out of the dumps, but he had had better offers on the boards, but no one contacted him ingame, nor did they have the items ready to go like I did. Try to reply to people ingame, then you don't get undercutters saying they'll sell a PA Hall for 2k.....if someone doesn't post their ingame name, ask for it.
