I would recommend asking the architects what they want in trade. If it were me I'd prefer one big stack of ore rather than all the various ingredients.

Unless they are your friend, I wouldn't expect an architect to except a straight across trade of materials for afinished deed. THey will also expect something to compensate them for their time and effort.

You might need a little more than that, though, because there are at least two factory components required too.

Actually, there are 4 factory runs to make that kind of thing - there are 2 Master Artisan components and 1 architect component that then must be put together in a factory run to make the power core unit.

Pawlin's advice is right on the money. An architect doesn't take a simple pile of resources and wave a magic wand over it to make it into a PA Hall. It takes a lot of production management and LARGE quantities of resources to do it. Talk with some architects and see if they will work out a deal for you in terms of resources, but do NOT expect to take the exact amounts of each resource and get the hall for free - I think you'll be disappointed.

I guess I'm one of the few that has done it this way, but, and let me clairify this, I have only done it for very close friends. So, what Pawlin and Zen are saying is very correct. It's hard to find an Architect that will do it for 'Free' so to speak. Which is pretty much what he is doing if you just give him the resources. If you look closely though, you'll see why a PA Hall costs as much as it does.

It takes a load of different resources, and as Zen also pointed out that there is some required Factory run materials as well. Although you are compensating them for it by resources, you aren't compensating them for their time.

You may want to find an Architect that will do something with you on your server though, discuss a way to get the cost down on the PA Hall, some of them will work with you, others won't. It's all in who you talk to, and how you do the talking of course.

For those people who want to gather "all of the resources for a large house | PA Hall | heavy harvester" and give them to a Master Architect to assemble for free or for a small fee, I offer this challenge:

Gather the following resources:

59 Metal
18 Aluminum
11 Inert Petrochemical
10 Reactive Gas
5 Copper
5 Gemstone
3 Low Grade Ore

This is 111 units of resources - you can probably either hand-sample for those or just bug an artisan friend for some of their odds and ends.

Then take that set of resources to a Master Weaponsmith on your server and ask them to make you a Scout Blaster just like you see on their vendor.

Granted, for a PA Hall or Large house the quality of resources doesn't matter, whereas in a Scout Blaster it does matter. But it matters for a heavy harvester also.

My basic point is that I don't think that I've ever heard of ANYONE trying this with a Weaponsmith, and yet Architects can tell the same story every week.

PA's areluxury items, taking 64k of resources, 15 to17 WALLs, and2-3 identical Power Core Units hence their price.

I usually always try to keep 3 or 4 readily available on my vendor and although I aways try to have all items available in stock, chances are I couldn't craft one on demand as I would be out of something (either the walls or Power Cores) as I usually craft until I've used all my factory crates of walls (either in harvesters, factories or houses) and then I'd begin another factory run. It would be rare for me to have 20 wall units not being used...lol
