I had 0 points to even be novice archetect at 3 pm today. at 4:26 (86 minutes later) I was master.

anyone else go this fast? is the profession supposed to be this easy?

I did exactly what the FAQ said, but it said should take 6 hours with SERIOUS grindage.

so is 86 minutes the fastest to do ANY professions from start to finish?

It takes about 1400k of XP to master Architect. You can get 5k per statue right? So if a statue takes 10 seconds to make then it should take 280 statues = 2800 seconds = about 47 minutes. 10 seconds is pretty ample time if using a macro. So theoretically in a pure, sore wrist grind session it could be done in much less than an hour.

Ya I don't think it should be that easy. I don't know any professions that can be mastered quicker than ours.

As others may point out, there is "Master" and there is "master". Yes, given a large stack of resources someone can grind out Novice -> Master architect in very short order. This was true even before statues existed and with statues it is crazy.

So if you were grinding to hit Master Architect for the purpose of holo-grinding, congratulations. Good luck in unlocking.

If you were grinding for the purpose of making it in the business of being a Master Architect, then that's cool also. If that's the case, however, you might recognize that although you hit that title in game terms that there is a lot to being in the architect business that you haven't yet learned. Check out the FAQ here and start to think about your business plan.

I did it back in the day before the statues were available.

It took just a bit longer than thatto make all those walls.

This method may make for one of the quickest professions to master, but it also makes it one of the most expensive.

Yes but Architect does need 600k ore/300k gemstone with this method. That's a lot of resources and would cost 2.7million at 3cpu. If you're not willing to buy it then you will have to spend a week just mining it. So really the grind can be 1 week... Although yeh it's a bit too fast

Wow that's fast for ID. I did it in 42 minutes and thought "I" was zooming.

Best time ever for Master Artisan/Master Architect grind was on Ahazi. 1 hour 54 minutes flat, including APs. All by hand.

We have had a resident do it in just under 45 minutes using a bank of 9 crafting tools and a macro. Thankfully it was a grind and he dropped it as soon as he got the badge .

But still.........
