I'm trying to make my first shuttle and clone building. There are some parts that need to be made from a factory.

My question is do the other parts that go into the factory need to be from a crate as well. I need to make power cores, and they are made up of other parts. I'm not sure if those parts need to be from a crate as well.

yes, your power core schematic will require identical turbines, conditioners, and distributors
