Has anyone ever made a schematic for the deed itself. I am at a posistion to manufacture about 15 hvy harvesters and thought to myself, hmmm why don't i just make a schematic for the deed and not worry about getting a bunch of criticals. Has anyone done this? And what issues/problems are involved.

It can be done but the issue of having to uncrate every factory made item would give me a headache. Not to mention that you lose 28K resources for the deed. It would be worth it to me if I had enough to make 20, then I would probably do it.

I would vote for you to do it. As far as I can tell, factories do not fail at all. I would do them in small runs though, possibly even one at a time. I've never actually filled up a factory but you might just do it trying to put in that many resources.

Make sure all your wall sections have the same serial number, even if they are to go into the 1-wall slot.

The factory is not smart enough to tell difference between components and where you intend them to go, and will try to put a single-non-exact wall section into the 6-wall section slot, and screw you up. If you put in all identical wall sections, then it doesn't matter which wall section is picked for any slot; and all will be fine.

Similar warnings might apply to generators, and ore mining units and the like.
