Thread: Template Combinations
I once was Master Architect/Master Tailor/Master Merchant. Now I'm in the process of dropping Architect for skill points because I can't bear to drop Tailor, which was my first love.
Anyway, I think it's completely a matter of personal preference. Pick whatever you would like. ![]()
Mine currently:
Master Architect, Master Artisan, Master Merchant, Entertainer 1042, Crafting Mastery 4022 and Heightened Senses 0002. Oh, and politician 4434 (soon, just a few more weeks for Master). Took up entertainer when politician became free skill points.
Mistress Kyphi Makarha
slowly going to drop some carbine for FS, mostly cause I want a second character to play with stuff. I can't do much now, seeing how I'm unwilling to drop archy...
The weapons and scout means I harvest all my own hide, plus catch my own fish, plus run missions for Alderaan Flora. The latter two go well the home furnishings aspect...
Has anyone brought up yet that the best template depends on how you play the game? It's such a common question, but it feels so much like my asking random people on the street to tell me what car to buy, without ever saying whether I need cargo capacity, pasenger capacity, fuel efficieny, or [small male genitalia] compensation.

*frowns* Yah, yah, clean language. I remember my junior high days. Sorry, mod, but what we (in a nice school) said in the 8th grade is far worse than anything that been edited out here...

Best comment yet on "template" - I've seen so many different ways that people have fun in this game I can't imagine just going with a "flavor of the month" build.

Exactly! Depends on how you play the game. I was weaponsmith for awhile, because my guild needed it. I hated doing it, so therefore I didn't spend the time working toward master's. I started Architect and LOVE it. Can't explain why, but I just do, and therefore, I'm willing to spend alot of time making stuff to sell, and have pride in it. I have alot of Artisian categories, but I found I need merchant mostly, so I may keep that as I go along. Personally, I'd like to be a creature handler, and that would be just for fun too. Probably no reason for it, I just like it. ![]()
