HI
- i have been making a new batch of crafting stations and harvestors in the last few days, but it seems that something is wrong ?? - even though i use 97% experimented components and prime resources for the crafting stations, i can´t get them above 40.25% ??? ( 43.85% beforerelease 17on same materials )
- and the same on the harvestors ! - these i can´t get above BER 11 on the heavies, and i got several BER 13 myself that is made before beforerelease 17 ???
have they nerfed this or is something wrong with my toon all of a sudden ??

I've had the same problem, can't seem to get my harvs over BER12. I might give it up not gonna be a 12 pt arch to make standard goods.

For the harvesters, please post your *exact* (including HR,SR,UT stats) resources used for the mining components and final assembly, as well as the percentage you got on experimentation for those two.

This morning I ran off 5 deep crust chemies. BER13, hoppers 123k-126k.
+10 bespin port (I think, I'm at work), in a research center, crafting station FR 8 (maybe that high), crap crafting tool, something in my hat for experimentation success or somesuch, +5 experimentation belt (oy I need some more bits in there, huh? :] ) so a 10pt archy.
The ore and steel had stats 925-960 for the desired areas, and yesterday I managed to experiment the turbo fluidic pumps up to 98% effective.
[addendum] a lack of amazing successes - almost all were great. The amazing is how I got the 126k hopper.

my stations did drop down from 44.33. to 44.22 but I think that it did due to the change in Droid storage compartments

I haven't tried crafting stations yet, but I've been making Ber 13 heavies without any problems. Of course, I've been using steel and iron with all stats over 900

I've been having the same problem Lineker. Pre-patch (and pre CU, but not sure which 'patch' screwed it up) I was crafting BER 10 mediums and BER 13 heavies
no problem using +900 resources. Now I can barely sqeak out a BER 9 medium and BER 11 heavy every 3rd or 4th try! And thats using +950 resources!
I even have 2 experimentation points left unused afterwards. I dont know what happened, but it obviously didnt happen to everyone. I've tried making new tools and
even using resources with no contribution to the experimentation (normally I wouldnt have to worry about using 1 or 2 inferiorresources such as a chem since I could
still sometimes get a 10 or 13 anyway) but it was no help.
This is a big problem. I hope it gets figured out soon.

Folks, the people who read and contribute here are more than happy to help you figure out how to improve your results. All you have to do is say:
1.here are the resources that I used for the mining components
2. here is the experimental result on the mining components
3. here are the resources that I used for the final assembly
4. here is the experimental result on the final assembly
If you don't tell us that, all we can do is repeat the general guidelines that are in the FAQ:
1. Use ONLY lube oil anytime it says "chemical"!!!! I'm serious - don't even think about using anything else.
2. Make sure ALL of your mineral resources for the mining components and final assembly have (HR+SR+UT+UT)/4 higher than 900.
3. Make sure you experiment the mining components as high as you possibly can.
If you are short of good resources either wait till you have some more or at least put your absolute best into the mining components. How well do BER11 heavy harvesters sell?

Oh well, looks like I'm just gonna have to re-make all my components again.Yay!More searching for good resources! Can't wait.

Harvies not sure, using 93% Exp on mining units, and +900 resources on final assembly, reach BER 13 at around 86% with 5 points left out of 12.
Now on Crafting Stations, I made a couple at +34 (ya, but I don't specialize and have average gases LOL). After Patch 17, used exactly the same materials (yes I made sure) and got a result of +32. I had 1 point left over on the +32 and had maxed the experimentation. Not much of a change, but it was there.

ZenDragonMLS, nothing in my post said anything about my needing "help" from anyone in these boards. I've been playing a crafter in-game since Beta2. I have had crafters
on many different servers and multiple characters on each. When I say that there is something different about crafting harvies I mean there is "something different" about
crafting harvies! When I said I used Chemical, I mean I use Lube Oil. When I say I use +950 resources that means I use greater than your "+900" resources. And what makes
you think that anyone crafting would stop experimenting after getting half-way?
I appreciate your attempt at helping, I really do. But something is wrong with Architect Crafting and it needs to be looked at.

Zen didn't respond to you specifically, he addressed his post to 'folks' in general. Many people don't experiment the mining parts as high as possible thinking that BER 6 is good enough. Thats a common misunderstanding so thats why Zen talked about people not experimenting things as high as possible.
Nobody attacked you or anyone else and youdon't need to get all upset cause someone dared offer advice to people who appear to have a problem.
We get this kind of thread every few weeks for thepast year or more. It usually starts with someone wondering if the last patch broke harvester experimentation. Usually the culprit is found out to be either: 1) they aren't using lub oil OR 2) their mining part schematics are messed up.
I'd recommend you make a NEW mining part schematic from scratch and make sure that you get it experimented up over 90%. It could be your old parts were marginally good enough to hit max BER with your older materials but just aren't quite high enough now. Or old parts might have gotten bugged at some point in some way.
But I don't beleive there is any general problem or any wide spread bugs. If there were then we'd have more than a couple reports. A couple reports of problems is actually typical at any given time.
