I think there should be a house option Set as Display


If you select that option it removes all people from the admin list execpt the owner and makes the house non transferable


Now when the house is in this mode you can drop the non dropable items in it and making it a display house.


If you want to add someone to the admin list you must turn off the Set ad Display option and by doing that all of the non dropable items are removed from the house and added to the owners inventory.

What would this be used for really? I don't really understand the purpose. Is it to keep other people on your admin list from stealing your stuff?

The idea of this would be for items that you can not drop in your house now or traded. that can only be in your inventory or bank.


SE Glasses

Dantooine NPC Sith holocron

items from the bestine election

Squill Skull

Lightsaber

Jedi Robes


there is a lot more of these items that are not dropable, that I have in my bank that would look cool in a house.


The main reason you can not drop them now is because they are not tradeable items. So by setting the house like this you would be able to drop the items in your house and display them and no one would be able to take them

The follow post is an idea for a veteran reward house or a quest reward house...something like that.


Deep Planet Mining Base


A very deep, 8 floors deep, home, built like a nuclear silo in the western US. Elevator from top floor down to the 2nd floor, stairs and elevators linking each floor, all the floors built in a spirarling pattern always going down. The very lower floor is a large industrial room for processing ores, and such... The entire building is built in a spiral, yes? Around what? A GIANT drilling tower!


At the top surface is a tower of a large slow rod, huge, but not unbelievably big, moving up and down slowly, digging into the ground. The machine would produce a steady, flat never changing rate of what ever inorganic material the planet can produce. It does NOT work off the mineral %s, but instead just produces lets say: Doonium Iron 500 across the board. The machine does not require power, it pulls the minerals up slowly, slower than any other mining machine, but because its medium quality resources at a never ending speed, it becomes usefull. Not to mention it makes a good house on the upper levels.


The machine operatiing, and the likes, would be operated in the lowest level of the building, Where theresource comes out unrefined and then must be refined in another terminal/object in the base. This machine takes a ltitle while to process theresource, rate depending on how much your processing. (that way it isnt just straight from machine, directly into your pocket) Then you have your medium quality resource for sale!


This would make a nice 2 year reward or something ultra rare. Good for people who want a large home, and still want some resources flowing in.


The reason why it has a seperate process is because it doesnt run off the %s of ore.



So who likes this idea?

I like the idea. I have at least been hoping for an underground base type of building.

It was just a underground house idea, but the mining ability spiced it up so more people would like =]

Interesting idea. Not sure how the harvesting would work. Housing deeds used to actually be able to take maintenance and power (I assume they were using the same template as harvesters). Not sure how possible it is to make a house/harvest combination.
