I just mastered architect about three days ago, and I'm at the end of my CU respec period. I can't make up my mind whether to be an architect or shipwright.
Any comments or suggestions? Money really isn't an issue, because I'm an armorsmith as well. I'm looking for a fun crafting profession mostly.

Architect is fun. Shipwright is fun. Shipwright has limited factory support so be prepared to spend a LOT of time doing it if you are serious about it. More money to be made, sure, but you say money is not really the concern....
So it just depends on how you see your character... You have the luxury of a roleplayer's perspective. Although my advice would be architect as I think AS SW is a hellava lotta work. ![]()

That's just what I needed to hear - contrary to what you might expect, I have a life outside SWG too, and it'd be nice not to spend all day in game.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I was a Master Architect. Then I added Master DE. Then when JTL came out I added Master SW.
I view the lack of factory support for SW as one of the stupidest decisions the designers made for JTL, requiring *every* component to be "custom made". Some folks love that about SW - I didn't.
So I dropped it. As an architect I have lots of choices on specializing my business, or only stocking vendors, or only doing custom order, etc. I have the variety and freedom to pursue the profession in whatever way is fun for me.
