i was an architect pre cu- my firsr profession to master, im now going back, beacuse i tried most of the others an shipwright was the only other truly challenging and fun prof i found.
Anyway, im not familiar with the 10 pt and 12 pt architect, could someone explain what this means how does one achieve it and anything about this that might be helpful?
Thanks,

When people say "12 point Chef" or "12 point Architect" they are refering to the number of experiment points they have to use during experimentation. Normally a master crafter has 10 experiment points since you get 1 experiment point for every 10 skill points and at master you get 100 experiment skill points. But with skill tapes and apron modifiers you can get up to an additional 25 points for a total of 125 maximum. That will give you 12 points during experimentation.

As you gain boxes in any crafting profession, you gain some number of points. That number, divided by 10 and rounded down, determines how many "experimentation points" you have. At Master level you end up with 100 points, yielding 10 experimentation points. So a standard Master Architect is a "10 point" architect.
Through the addition of skill tapes and other clothing items (e.g., architect crafter's apron) you can get yourself up to 125 points (the cap, no matter what the display says), which give you 12 experimentation points.
For architect the only use for those extra points is to get bigger hopper sizes for harvesters. Some people feel that that is worth the cost/effort to get those tapes and some don't.
