So I just noticed the Generic/Corellian Medium houses are really quite small compared to the Tatooine and Naboo Medium houses.. (I never owned one before so I didnt realize those where not "small" houses)

IMO the Corellian/Generic Medium need to have a basement added (which wouldnt require any external graphic changes) so they come closer to the square-footage and usable space inside as the Tatooine and Naboo houses.

I agree, the generic medium house is rather small compared to most of the others, they should definitly add at least a basement to it, on another note i also think they should increase the nmber of lots you need to 3 for a medium and give it 300 item storage.

A basement would be nice, but would require a floorplan change, because there is currently no room for the stairs.

I would not like the lot requirements raised on the existing structures, even to get additional storage. It would be better to add some 3-lot and 4-lot structures that anyone can place. I dobelieve a lot of people placed hospitals for the extra storage, and not to practice medicine in. We do also need some structure love, because the last new structure I can recall was the player city garage.
