to change your signs you need to have the required merchant skills. as for name changing you go to the name change option on your terminal in your house.

bump means bump. there isnt anything else to it

no, bump does not mean 'disregard' it means a thread is being 'bumped' to the top of the list again, in other words do NOT disregard. It is all about keeping a post/thread in the spotlight.

Depends on what you want to do.

If you are a crafter and want the best "bang for the buck" then getting additional vendors is important in order to maximize your presence. Get at least 4 vendors and you can be on 4 planets. (This takes Merchant Management II skill, 6+ 10 points)

If you want to be able to place a merchent tent (basicly a small house that can go on any planet) you have to get effency IV. (Cost is 14+ the 6 novice points), This level also gives you a 20% reduction in maintenance costs for all your structures (and any structure you are admin on and actually put credits towards maintenance) and a 20% reduction in bazaar fees.

If you want to be found on the global map, then you need advertising III, cost of 12 points.

If you want to be able to select your npc vendor, and/or dress them in some clothing other than the default starter cloths, you need hiring. (Since I had no need for this, I don't know the different skill advancement perks for this line.)

Oh, and one more important thing about the merchant skills... if you have an NPC merchant the maintenance cost is pretty low (like a couple hundred a day max or something). The bulk vendors that you get at business III have a pretty hefty price compared to the merchant level vendors. So if you're an architect selling deeds worth 10's of thousands of creds then it can really save you a LOT of money to just get up to novice merchant so you can place the NPC level vendors. Unless something has really changed lately about the old bulk vendors.

t USED to be that NPCs cost 1cr to run, and the cost of the bulky was based on the price tag of the items it sold.. but Im pretty sure that was all changed.

I havnt actualy bothered using the bulky vendors in a long time, but I thought they made the cost of all of the vendors the same quite a while ago.

to change the text color its \#FFCC00 where the (ffccoo is the html coding for a partiular color. In this case it would be a goldish orange color. Not sure if that is what you are talking about. Oh and you would then type the name of you structure right after it.

EXAMPLE:

\#FFCC00RaidersofValor

\#CC6633Tusk'n Flats
