Today I discovered that there was a new section on the planetary map when I was travelling. It was labelled "rebel". I promptly looked at it, and found that MANY cities had 1 or multiple "markers" listed ont he planetary map displaying the city as rebel oriented. Rebel Detachment HQ's wer elisted...but so were other things.
Went back to my home planet of tatooine to check the status of my guilds own city. And low and behodl we had THREE markers under this "rebel" heading that shows up on the planetary map. I created a waypoint to each one. Guess where it led me:
To each city garden. Upon opening ctrl-m I foudn that the gardens were displayed ont he overhead map as "Rebel - Mos Furiosis"
Our GUILD is aligned towards the rebelsat the moment, because the devs in all their wisdom never gave anyoen the option of a 3rd faction (mercenaries) to fight with. Howeve rour CITY is mor eor less neutral....50% or more of the citizens are not faction aligned and not in the GCW.
SO my question is why are gardens displaying cities as faction oriented, which gives false impressions about the city.....and why are they being displayed on th eplanetary maps? I have noted that Imperials do not show up under a new heading liek this.
Ive made similar notices in the GCW and Politician forum area. Please respond....would really like a correspondant reply on this. Thanks

Interesting. So this is like our harvesters getting labeled, but more exciting (what with the planetary map display).
Unfortunately our Correspondant is AWOL and the developers avoid reading this forum like the plague, so I think you'll have to look elsewhere if you want to force any answers.

BTW - just checked with my Mayor on Chilastra. She says that this is a well known bug and has been discussed on the Politician forum (after all, the *placing* of gardens is a city thing). So you might want to go there and see what the latest is on it.
Apparently one of the cuter comments someone made was "Help - there is a rebel base hiding under my garden!"

You don't see the imperial gardens because you are obviously a rebel
Guess you shouldn't worry too much as imperials cannot see your gardens likewise
