I would like to see a kit for houses made by Architects that would allow a player to reconfigure floor plans, house design, lighting, stairs, etc. put into the game allowing players to modify the layout of their houses to custom designs fitting into a certain template of course for each type and size of house. Also I would like to see a new style of storage and decoration limits for example: set decoration storage limits different from storage limits. This would enable the player to have a seperate allowance for decorating his humble abode without cutting into his storage of the regular everyday used items. Thus reducing the need to place multiple houses to solve storage limitation issues. This would eliminate or reduce the effect that housing has on mission spawns when they wind up in the middle of someone's storage house. It would also keep the open areas more open and reduce crowding allowing for harvesters to be placed without worry as well.

Forget the player - give us the ability to do that and we sell the final product to players. That would give us alot more choices of homes to sell.

I'd like it, but the coding issues would be HUGE. They'd have to make almost an entirely seperate front end to serve this function; essentialy it's CAD work. Highly simplified, building-block approach, no doubt-- but the 3D nature of it alone would require a lot of porting from the dev software. We won't see this one short of a major expansion pack; I can't see them devoting the effort it would require otherwise.

yeah I played UO from 1997 - 2004 and had 6 accounts with many GM and Elder chars. That game too started out Cruddy but became something players could be proud of.
