Thread: does the chemical component affect harvester ber?(nt)

If the chemical has UT/SR/HR then yes, since the ratio is 50:25:25. If you use a chemical such as liquid fuel which has on DR, OQ then it does NOT affect the final stats. I do this for making all of my harvesters now, since I have ales steel and ofik ore, which both have 900+ in all three stats.


Believe me it does make a difference. One Chem medium that I made with a chem that only had 300 UT stats I was only able to achieve 87% on the fluid extractor, and a ber 9 using all 10 exp points. When I switched the chem to liquid chem, I got 97% and BER 10, with 2 points left to experiment on the storage.

Lube oil also works - it has no HR, SR, or UT
