Thread: 2nd and 3rd professions for architects
What are good professions for master architects to take that will add some excitement to our lives?
After mastering Architect and Artisan I have, theoretically, 110 points to spend on another tree or set of trees. I have squandered most of those already on scout, pistol, medic, and even dancer and merchant. I plan on selling them back as my adventuring career kicks off but will wait until I need them.
I was thinking pistoleer sounds efficient, but marksman might be rewarding in it's abilities. Even fencer has sort of an appeal.. I know the migrations to our HAM bar will require some finesse and balancing tricks too so those need to be considered.
So can you throw out some ideas for me?
Thanks in advance..
I've found, as an Architect, that I probably won't ever be a real "tough" character. As a result, I plan on mixing Scout (for exploration and hunting), Pistol (can still shoot while running hehe) and Merchant, for selling my items.
Just my 2 credits. =)
If you skip the master artisan and buy comps on the market you can get to master creature handler.
Or you can get smuggler or 3 trees in commando
Ohh Amydar!
Now you've made me thing about dropping Master Artisan, I want pets!!! YAY!
I guess I'll just go for pistoleer.. Doesn't sound exciting enough but I don't want to give up master artisan, I like making the few extra things I get with it.
I might really like Creature handler, I am having fun with just a droid pet. I might go for droid engineer.. hmmmm
Then I could have my droid pets which I believe will get better with time. I know that's up for debate, but I am hoping. It is more in line with star wars then CH pets, so I'll keep the faith on it.
gotta pull up the charts and count points, but I wonder if I could take droid engineer and still have some points left to give me decent pistol skills. That would be a lot of versatility in sales and some adventuring skills too.
so much to think about. I love this game..
you can hit master arch, and get some nice levels of any kind of advanced brawler/marksmen then back it up with a basic branck of marksmen/brawler.
i'm doing un-armed level IV, and Riflmen on one tree.

btw, I'm taking novice pistoleer, novice CH, novice merchant, and maybe novice something else. i figure why be good at something when i can just do a lot?
I fight to get to my harvester so I ended up up TK Artist. I gathered hides from the critters for furniture that I killed on the way to my harvesters so Igot much Scout XP so I ended up with CH.
These are two elite professions that just kinda happened on their own while I was moving up the Architect tree.
Im a master artisan/architect and am currently working on teras kasi and ch, I just want to get to novice ch as i have a number of friends that are going to master it and bio eng. My goal is to get enough ch that i can go tame little things to annoy them with while they bring out their massive monsters.
Dropped Musician last night, will most likely drop marksman next, and will get rid of novice medic last, as I will miss being able to make stim pack As in the field
Personally im going for Master Merchant and Master Fencer, unfortunatly i wont be able to do master archy or master artisan, but i got buildings 4, installations 4 and furny 4 and its enough for me to make a living, pa halls are cool but i dont think i could emotionally handle the stress of failing a pa hall deed.
I think Master Archy furny is a bit fubar at minute too? seems to be the same graphics as lvl 2 furny?
