Ok, my partner and i slapped down our first equipment factory today and wanted to give it a test run. We created some simple throw away schematics for weapon powerups for our first go. We stuck in the schematic, dropped in the resources, and hit manufacture. when it's done we check the output hopper and, yes, we have crates, but they are in sizes of 10.

So,,,we tried other manufacturing limit sizes but wekeep getting crates of 10 powerups. Is there a way to set the amount of powerups (or any item) the factory will put in 1 crate or

You dont get to set crate size.

What a wonderful would it would be if everything would be allowed to stack up to 100 in crates.

The Devs say what items ar allowed to stack in certain amounts inside a crate.

like everyone has said crate sizes are set. but i highly recommend making your schematics for as high as possible to save on remaking and wasting resources to often. im not sure the limits of different factorys but i make all my food schematics for 1000 items. even if i dont have enough resources for 1000 items i can always buy more of those resources or just delete the schematic later. better to be way high than to have to make another schematic.

Why doesn't the Ore Mining Unit get put in crates? Ugh..........I have like 20 of these in my output hopper without a pretty crate to house them

Plants don't get put in crates, either.
