Give SOE their due. I noticed this weekend I no longer had to open the control screen twice if the item being harvested had despawned under the harvester. You can change to the new resource AND turn the harvester on without closing the screen and reopening it. That was really really nice, especially considering the number of aggros I was getting while tending my harvesters.

Sounds great, wasn't working that way for me on Bloodfin last night though. Can anyone else confirm this on another server before I report it as a bug on mine?

You just hit the timing right. I had this happen once not too long ago and the next time out it was back to opening it twice again.

If the on button isn't working then you can also hit the Alt key to toggle between the modes and when you come back it should refresh itself. Little more convenient than having to open the operate machinery option, close it and open it again.
