Thread: Crafting Broken?

OK, I've never run into this before, and I'm not expert.
Ive never had a problem crafting BER 13's, with lesser materials, but today I can't get to 13 and I've wasted enough materials to make 10 harvs. Which really is a HUGE waste of money.
I'm using the following:
Dogo, Iron UT 980, SR926, HR 920
Int. Ore 944, 930, 973
Lube Oil
Heiawhoged, Steel 938, 944, 964
My Turbo Fulidic Drilling Pumps are experimented to BER 6
I'm using craftign foods, a 42 crafting station, and i live in a friggin research center.
I'm doing the same thing I always have done.
I've never had to use skill tapes, but I suppose I could try that. I've lost over a million credits already this morning, lol, so I'm kinda cranky. Sorry.

1 - don't cancel just because it doesn't go well, Just make a prototype instead of schematic. It probably won't sell for much but you should at least be able to break even.
2- Did you stop experimenting when you got BER6 on the pumps? I think you get to that level around 80% buy should keep experimenting until you run out of experimentation points or max out, preferably the latter. Last batch I made I got 96% on the pumps, good resources on the combine and didn't have to experiment the effectiveness at all. It was a special order, he only wanted them if hopper was at least 125k, I got over 141k and he doubled his order to 40 harvesters

put my +10 outfit on, still making 12s
1- yeah, problem is everything i make is high level, so mess ups just sit around forever, i'd rather not deal with them
2. i honestly dont remember what the percentage is. I just know they're BER6. BER 6 is max no? They should work?

BER6 is the max rating you'll get on the unit but the % is what gets factored into the final combine.

ok last question, since the BER stat tells me nothing, what percentage do I need to hit.
I mean is it just me, or is this setup really stupid? lol

You'll want to get the mining part as high as you can, preferably >95%.
The BER for the harvester is based on the sum of the experimentation for the mining part and the experimentation during the final combine. If they add to about 176% or more then you will hit maximum BER.
