Price Check! How much are Heavy Harvesters cost?
The biggest harvesters..... how much do they cost?
was selling for 110k while getting xp, stil made some profit. Gonna start asking 130k now that I dont need xp anymore.
It only takes 1 crit fail to ruin your week at low profit margin prices!
I have a feeling pre-patch large harvesters will be cut across the board....no way a large prepatch will be at the top of the spectrum storage capacity wise. I think the prepatch harvesters should be left alone and as a starting standard. New harvesters shouldallow experimentalimprovement on what is already out there. This could allow for a gradual upgrading for all concerned. Imagine, less maintenance time and/or possible better pulls!!! A dream - I know. The b
I am not making anymore larges until the proposed harvesternerf is settled. I have hoarded great ores, but it looks like I may be forced to recreate my fleet of exisiting harvesters. Gee....what great fun. (:<(
Harvesters will be retro-nerfed. Count on it. Just like all house deeds were changed to show new item limits.
And I can't make heavy harvesters yet but I have been buying them for 105K to 115K from a Master.
I dont see any reason for the price of harvesters to fall after this patch.
The pre-existing harvesters may be a lower quality than can now be made... but everything new being made will require experimentation and a much more costly material (we will have to compete for Good resources).
I think it is far more likely that the price for new harvesters will be higher than the current prices.
Also, if the difference in the effectivness of old vs new is big enough there will be a huge surge in demand. We wont be able to make Good harvesters fast enough (it takes more time now... and lots of materials) to keep up. High demend plus inadequate supply means higher prices.
Of course, at some point we will plateau out again... then we will just be doing more work to support the same shrinking economy.
Sold mine for 115k. Buyer seemed happy with the price, because even after hearing "average" prices in the 60k range, there did not seem to be any for sale anywhere.
I guess the 60k average went up when no one was selling for that.
With that price though, I found that 115k was not going to be my average price. Too much work for me for that profit. If I get tells for them now, i tell people 150k. I get no business at that, but that is fine. I don't like making those much anyhow. It takes money to make me like it. LOL.
I have a feeling though, that when the patch comes through, that the prices will, and should go way up.
I just hope that MA's do not short change themselves because of months of "thats the average price because I say so" from customers. Just be on the know... when supply goes up, take advantage of it and get some real prices. Besides, your good will be of greater values over the novice. Id price them that way.
On Bria, I sell mine for 80k. And now that this patch is supposedly going to nerf the whole kit and kaboodle of what I've made so far, it just means that I get to make more money again. Yeay for me. ![]()
