with armorsmiths getting the colorize function without being a tailor....

why can't an architect make some more money by making the pads of those nasty orange couches blue?
--my complaint is that i can't make a house look good if i like the shape of something but it stands out. wouldn't every bachelor love a large black couch instead of the only color it comes in?

or even make the trim color's on houses a different color? nothing wild like hot pink or anything but natural tones. and not the whole house painted. but just trim.

And what is more guild like than haveing your harvestors trimmed in your guild colors? or having a choice of hanging a guild flag outside your houseor even a factional flag. to show your patriotism...

what about being able to craft those paintings? or the chairs from the cantina's

just some ideas of a born again architect. Lowca master architect....Dropped.....Now back at it again with a new character of course

tell me what ya think

new character is Pep Acki based out of naboo.

The Devs know about our wish to color furniture. The said that is would be major reprograming but would look into it.

How they can differentiate between clothing and furniture is beyond me. Furniture has about as much function as clothing does. Both are nothing more than decoration.

The only thing that makes since is that for some reason they decided to code furniture in a radically different way then they did with clothing and armor.

Do not hold your breath on use being able to paint our houses though.

Yeah! And what if I don't want the red curtain bordello look just because I live on Naboo! Or I want a different color carpet. Or... jeeze, can't I have some windows!

I can think of allll kinds of things it would be cool of architects could customize... Oh dear, now I feel like I'm playing the Sims, and editing the tiles for carpet and wallpaper so I can get just the look I want...

But I want my house just the way I want it!

Mine are yellow. I had a party and invited some Wookiees. Big mistake.

Things got a little crazy, next thing I know Chewdrunkard bet ChewWinkey that he could empty the last of the Jawa beer.

One hour later ChewWinkeywhizzed all over my couch.

Now I have a foul smelling house and Twi'lek Head Boobrie holders hanging from my non functioning lamps.

I think it is more an issue that armor and clothing are basically skins for models and furniture would have it's own model. Now, they could add slip covers to Novice Tailor and change all that. ;-)
