Hey guys.

I got a questions... is there a difference between the money and what planet you are on when you want a building ?

I heard that large buildings style 1cost 75K or that it was a fair prise.... for such a building.... but then i came to Corellia and ask for some guys to build me a large building style 1 ...... then i ask them about the prise and they say ... 145K and 110K.........now i wonder ? if you all say that 75K is a fair prise for a large building style 1 then have i been cheated or does it depends on what planet you are on ?

It really depends on the Arch. The one who quoted the price of 75k is selling for around 2cr per uit of resource (perhaps less), otherwise known as a lowballer. These are people who don't know what they should charge, are desperate for money, or just to dumb to realize that they could sell the raw resources for 5+cr per unit on the open market. It's also possible they have someone giving them free resources or have access to duped resources.

At any rate it takes the average casual player anywhere from 3-4 days to a week or two in order to mine the ~28k+ resources (more if you count crits) to make a large house. Add in the fact that you have to have factories (which eat up 3 of your precious 10 lots and that cuts your mining capacity down even more.

Myeslf, I refuse to sell for less than 5 cr per unit because my time is worth at least the market value of the resources themselves and if I had a combat character I could pull in 10x that in the same amount of time. So, no the guy carging more wasn't ripping you off. However, the guy selling a large for 75k was ripping his self off (IMHO).

I wouldn't blame anyone for buying from the guy beating his self in the head with his own prices but it does make it harder for the rest of the Arch community to make a living.

Just my 2cents.

75k is low too low in my opinon for a large. Cost is dependant on the architect and the resources used. Some generic planet houses take more resources than their planetary counterpoints so they may be more expensive.

Just as a point of reference a Large Coriellian House (style 1) takes 37,584 resources to build.

You heard wrong. 75K is too low a price for a large house.

If you can find one for that price, more power to you and may the architect you got it from rot in **edit**.

75K is a give-away price. I wouldhave bought it just to resell it at a profit while preserving my own resources! large houses take over 37k of materials to build. I sell larges at 150K solid. If players can find them cheaper, then they can go for it, but I have no trouble maintaining my prices.

If you find a large house going for 75k, buy it!

I am a fairly low price dealer and mine go for a minimum of 100k ( usually 120k )
