it determines what crafting station you need to manufacture an item.
Drop it low enough and you dont need a Personal crafting station ... you can use a public crafting station.

So the skill tapes that give me a +9 to complexity does what?

Wow, can this be confirmed ? Makes sense, but also makes the skill pretty worthless, how many architects do you know that do there crafting at a publc station ?

I think that is refering to the complexity rating of a structure deed. Each schematic has a complexity rating and that value does determine if you need a public or private crafting station.

The original question I think was asked about the structure complexity SKILL which I don't believe is even implemented. I don't see any structure complexity in my skill box. AFAIK the structure complexity skill tapes don't do anything because they modify a skill that isn't currently implemented.
