If your lookng for a static placement, just look around for a spot of your liking. I prefer Naboo due to its lush green fields, and relativly flat layouts.

If you will be moving around, just get your bike well oiled, and tune up your survey tools!

Other than that, this is hard to answer since location is subjective.

My favorite spot is out side Bestine on Tat, about 1k from Bestine Flat as can be, but nothing good hardly ever spawns there. lol

I'd also recommend the flats south west of Bestine- purely for the convenience factor and the lack of irritating mobs.

I've had static sets of harvesters on guildmates' accounts for months and month in various locations, and in all that time I'd say no one position is better than any other. Sometimes you get lucky and a great resource turns up underneath them, other times you're churning out worthless grinding metals at 40% density.

If these are your only "spare" static harvesters, the other thing I'd suggest is perhaps splitting them into two groups of five some distance apart - that way you won't find yourself "trapped" harvesting rubbish all the time. The chances are that at least one of the two sites will be on something worthwhile.

Also, maintenance gets to be a drag, so set them out in a nice pattern to make this as painless as possible. And finally - try to avoid any semi built-up areas in case a new city pops up - else you could find yourself on the end of some unwanted structure taxation!

Good luck,
