Hello, like it says I am new to this crafting thing. My main question is, how do I find out what is the best quality of resource to use?Example, I want to make the best fishing ploe ever. Fishing Rod : 7 units of Inorganic, Fishing-line Guides : 2 units of metal, Fishing line : 4 units of chemical, Fishing-Rod Reel : 5 units of metal. It also say something about experimental durability (decay rate 100%) experimental effectiveness (unit toughness 100%). So now how doI know what is the best resources to use to make the best fishing pole ever?

thank you to everyone who helps me out

If you right click on a resource and select 'examine' you will get up a window where you can see all the stats of that resource. Stats can range from 1 - 1000 or be non-existant for that type (if it is non-existant, it will count as the average from the other resources). As you found here, to experiment on the effectiveness (experimental effectiveness ), it all counts on the Unit Toughness, or UT for short (100% = everything )

So to make the best ever fishing pole, you would need a resource with 1000 UT.
