For the love of god and all that's holy, please tell me that at some level of the Furniture tree there is a floor lamp that gives whitelight? I run a tailor shop (out of a Small Generic Planet House style 2) and can live with these tiki torches I'm having to use to light my showroom - barely - but the orange light they give off throws off the colors on my display items, big time.

If there is such a lamp, what it's called, and what level of Furniture does it take to build one? What should I be asking for, and who should I be asking?

I actually found it quite surprising that in a universe with space travel you are relegated to using fire to light the interiors of your buildings.

Educate the customer.

Ctrl-L = every players own personal light. Lights up rooms pretty nicely.

thats not the point... why have all these wonderful lamps and lights and then have it be too dark without a torch or ctrl+l to even see them?

why don't lamps produce light? i wish they did.

I can tell that you're not a tailor. The personal light is yellow, and also screws up the colors, but in a different way.

None? Not a single white lightbulb all the way up to Master Architect?

What I educate the customers is when in doubt, to double-click on the display samples to seem them in true color and more closely. But it still doesn't do justice to my work. I put real effort into choose pleasant and attractive color combinations - only to see everything appear, to the customer, in shades of pink, orange, and gray. Unless I take the torches out, in which case everything is black.

Give me a "G"! Give me an "A"! Give me an "H"! What's that spell? "GAH!" I can't hear you! "GAAAAAAAH!"

OK, not to be annoying or anything, but I was just over at www.swgcraft.com (which, by the way, rocks) looking at the list of schematics by skill tree. Under Furniture II, they list the following four items, all at 70 to 75 metal in resources:

• Desk Lamp


• Free-Standing Lamp


• Table-Top Lamp


• Table-Top Lamp, Style 1

Have all four of these been tested, and none of them actually give off light?

Currently, nothing besides torches give off light.
