Thread: DATA Terminals in PA Guild Halls?
This is for any one familiar with guild halls and/or architecture. What data terminals are available for them? I see "data terminal" as something an architect can build, but what exactly is it? Also, what about Crafting stations? How do I get some of those in our hall? Are there data terminals that act like a guild "vault",where you can store crafting resources, weapons, and other items?
Also, I've noticed in the Imperial faction list, it has a list of about four "data terminals", but there is no distinction between them. They all vary in price. Does anyone know what terminals these are?
Thanks for all of your help.
Architects can build two data terminals under the Furniture list, but they don't DO anything. They are just decoration. And because they require factory components, they are rather expensive and time-consuming decorations (though I do admit they look neat in houses and PA Halls).
Crafting stations are also made by Architects. These can be dropped just like furniture in a house or PA Hall. At that point, they act as private crafting stations, which are required by crafters to access certain schematics, as well as allowing experimentation on items.
There are no pieces of furniture that allow you to store items. You can store items using travel packs and locked containers. You can drop any items on the floor and they will be secure (only the owner of the structure can pick and drop items currently).
I'm not sure about the data terminals listed by faction recruiters. I know you can purchase mission terminals, though one of my PA members says he does not see the option listed by a recruiter. The data terminals may simply be decoration like the ones Architects can make.
