Thread: I worked on my house this weekend.. I crit failed..
So I was working on my house this weekend, and despite a trip to the emergency room (7 staples in the head..) I noticed something odd..
I was up on the roof, replaceing some fascia boards, and I slipped and critically failed to put the board on, and for some reason, my entire house DID NOT DISAPPEAR!!!!!!
What the heck? In the Star Wars universe this failure would have resulted in my family standing in a hole with no walls or roof over their head.. Why didnt my house disappear?
I am wanting a developer to explain how a universe that can develop faster than light travel cannot bend a nail without the whole thing disappearing?

Well now, that really puts it into perspective doesn't it? I may not be happy when I crit and lose all the resources, but I have never had to get staples in my head from it. Losing everything may not be very realistic, but if staples in the head can be avoided I'm happy with unrealistic.
Sorry about your crit, sorry about your head, happy with the unreality of crit failures.
