Thread: A few questions related to architect...
What does quality affect for furniture? Does it actually do anything? Does anyone every experiment or is it a waste of time?
Why can you experiment on durability for a house? I thought that keeping a house (and other installations) maintained was the way to keep it from decaying. Is there also a decay so that installations will all disappear over time?
Lastly, how does the vendor determine its maintenance cost? I've noticed it fluctates but it seems slightly random. Is it based on number of items? Total complexity? Total cost of items? Number of times the vendor is used or accessed? Does a vendor still work if it needs repair?
Thanks helping me out. ![]()
Experimentation does nothing in Architecture, not for houses, harvesters, factories, or furniture. Increasing the durability of components has no effect on the maintenance of structures. And no, structures do not decay unless the owner doesn't put in maintenance.
Vendor costs are based on the cost of the items in the vendors and the time you have the vendors up. But this is apparently only for droid and terminal vendors. The NPC vendors are bugged and only cost 1 credit per half-hour, no matter what items you put on the vendor.
And no, a vendor will cease to work if it needs to be repaired.
