More traffic here, so I'll post this here as well:

I've been grinding through missions, harvesting, and selective bazaar scavenging, putting together what was needed to make an equipment factory. Main reasons were 1) making an equipment factory will net just about what is needed to level past novice architect, and 2) I wanted to cash out.

Well once I sell it for 50k, I'm guessing that I'll be about 15k in the hole hehe. However, along the way, I discovered furniture crafting and selling, and once I made the equipment factory (thus gained the xp) I ended up training furniture 1 instead of installations, which I would imagine is the more profitable / sensible way to go.

But I have had nothing but a BLAST making furniture. It sells REALLY surprisingly well, and keeps me grinding forward, as I think that it is the one skill tree where I have really been able to appreciate my progress. The progression in 'coolness' of the furniture is really a great surprise.

Heh, I'm wondering now, if it's even worth it to go into the fields other than furniture, and should maybe try out critter handler instead.

Has anyone found the other legs of the architect tree to be as rewarding as furniture crafting?

I also like furniture, butI feel that Medium Houses is essential, they are about 10x larger then small houses and was the first thing I concentrated on getting after novice arch. After I got factories, since those sell well. Then I got furniture I to expand my options. My next skill will be medium harvesters, since they sell well and are very useful. I suggest you go see a medium house and how nice they are compared to small before you decide to take furniture all the way.

I got harvesters first. This was because me grinding wasn't the issue, it was how long I could grind for due to how many resources I had. With limited plots I figured the fastest way to go up was to have the best harvesters. After that I hit houses, cause my friends and I wanted them. And then I went up furniture.

Now as a master easily all my crafting time is furniture. I stock my vendor everyday with it, and sell a lot. I think yesterday I sold like 70,000 worth of furniture. It was a nice surprise when I logged on. Also decorating my house and my town's guild house has been way fun. I have probably spent over 20 hours just decorating and making everything perfect.
