Why is it that only an architect can move, pickup and/or rotate the yellow sofas. No one else can target the darn things.

because we know how to type:

/pickup couch

/rotate couch left

/move couch forward 1

That's all nice and good but WHY can't other people target the dumb sofa?

Very nice wise-a$$, uninformative comment to a legitimate question Jyss. In order for any of those commands to work, you must be able to target the object in question or at least know its exact name (which is never as easy as you might think). I had one of those cursed couches planted in the middle of my living room for the longest time because I could not target it. It was only when I friend was able to sit down on it that I found someone with tha ability to both target and remove it. Gloria, it's a bug that been lingering around since the game began. Word of advice. Find someone to get rid of the stupid banana couch and get a different model.

Submit a ticket...a CSR will zap into your house and pick it up for you. I couldn't target mine, tried the commands anyway and it still didn't work.

I have 2 in my house. /pickup couch or /move couch ..etc...work. Nothing needs to be targeted. To sit on it, type /sit couch.

You're not the first person to mention this. It seems to be a bug in the latest patch. I haven't had any problems, but seeing that I am an architect, that isn't a good example. I will look into it further and report the bug.

i hear its from a crappy texture shader on your card

im using a geforce 2 and i cant touch the yellow couches

i wish theyd fix em cause i would use them if i could

It does seem to be related to your video card settings. It's even listed in the holo-help-acron. If your video card supports it, turn on vertex/pixel shader version in your options. As soon as I did that... BOOM!! no longer did I have a banana couch facing the stinkin wall.

If you don't have the ability to turn on that option, well, I don't really know what to do to target it so open up that CSR.

That's kind of what the CSR told me, not necessarily crappy texture shader, but incompatible.
