Thread: Beyond Master Architect?
- The Outdoorsman (Big Game Hunter)
- Antarian Ranger (possesses minor force resistances and abilities)
- Combat Ranger (master of guerilla warfare)
Those were just examples of ideas I had for the Ranger profession. Now that you hopefully see where I am going with this idea, I would love to see where you would like theArchitect to go after achieving the title of Master Architect. Any and all input is welcome, but please try to keep it constructive.
It would be a bad idea as we dont have the skill points to master 3 thins, have merchant and have basic scout/combat skills i think if you add more paths that you should add more skill points eg give each player 200 more skill points, or have quests which need to be compleated and on doing so the player earns 100-200 skill points depending on how hard the quest is and with a cap on extra skill points at say 1000, this would let us master many skills and have more fun in the game atm im tied between gettinf de and tk and having nothing else so i think this would be a good idea to earn extra skill points!
But now down to the subject if we get extra jobs how about things like:
Architech - House Design
So architechs can design houses and go into peoples houses and altter the layout, wall color add lights etc. And with each level there able to alter the home more or build them diferently, they should be able to mak houses that range from 1 lot to 10 lots so can alter them accordingly, and aslo be able to add gardens, storage rooms (Which add aditional storage to the house not taking up any more lots but costing more maintenance say 20Cr) and each home has so many slots to add things 2, and only master House Designers can do this.
Architech - Furniture Customisation
So Architechs can creat furniture how they want they can start from scratch and make items or they can take existing furniture and modify it so they can make many different things, as well as an advanced selection of furniture eg, TVs, radios, speakers and more.
Architech - Scematic Master
This would alow the Architech to craft scematics to sell, like those gaind from quests! They can specify what is needed to use the scematic how many uses it has etc. Then a architech could buy scematics From Scematic masters so they can build extra things like paintings, houses etc and this profession has extra things aslo
Ok well thats me done on my long post lets get oppinions and i look forward to reading other ideas!
How about a Combat Engineer? They could build GCW installations and accessories, such as bases, walls, turrets, covert detectors, traps (such as pits players might fall in), etc.
Another idea I've heard is Miner (bring back Miner!) This profession would build more advanced mining equipment, possibly including resource processors which could increase the stats of Ore, Metal, Chemicals, etc.

Yes, this one I like, we really need to be part of GCW, not all of the above, but one or two to start with, (esp. turrets) and others trickling through in later publishes.

Miner does not sound much like an advancement for a Master Architect, sorry. The ability to 'refine' resources could be interesting, I'm not sure it will meet universal approval though, even if it could give us something new to make - A Refinery.
