Thread: Factories as extractors?

OK, I should have posted this right after I saw this, but I had a question for the other master archs who actually know what they're doing. The other day I got a guy desparate for a structure factory, and so made him one. Well, when I was making the final build, I saw the experiment thing, and in it I saw something onextraction experimenting or somethingI believe. I tried, but didn't get anywhere (could be that I was going one point at a time, and had no numbers on the right, you know, the 5% or whatever they mean)...
What I'm wondering is, can factories harvest, or is it a bug in the structure factory experimentation, or am I just imaginingthings

Yeah, experimentation only works on the storage size right? I know the other one stays at 0 no matter what. I accidentally tried it once

What he's refering to is the fact that it lists a BER on the deed of a factory. I'm wondering if this was an origional idea that got scraped and never totally cleaned up after beta. Any input other than, "No they don't do extraction at all."?

Factories can't harvest anything.
I'm sure that this is just a bug in the experiment options. Experimentation doesn't do anything for factories.
