OK forgive a somewhat long standing player for sounding like a newb... but what exactly do Structure complexity skill tapes do for architects??? I've seen a few around and pondered buying them, but I'd hate to spend money on a worthless item...
Any thoughts?

They aren't really worth the bother.
Structure Complexity skill tapes lower the effective structure complexity of items you are crafting, meaning that they may change whether they need a craftings station, particular tools, etc.
For example, if I'm making an item of complexity 26 (meaning itrequires a specialized crafting tool and private crafting station) but I have Structure Complexity skill tapes worth +7, this means that the effective Structure Complexity is 19, and then only requires a Specialized crafting tool and no crafting station to make.
I hope this helps.

Yes it does, thanks.... Since when i am serious about crafting, I run around with 6 tools a ton of resources and a crafting droid, I don't need to worry about that mess.
Appreciate the help.
