Thread: Have crafting stations been nurfed?

I have tried several times to make good crafting stations and fail to make anything over 27. I am making the station with very good copper and get a result of 99% on experimentation but dont get anywhere near the 42's that I have seen. All sub parts are made to above 90%. The storage modules are 99% on experimentation.
Does everything have to be at 99% to get the 42 rating?

I haven't tried making one by hand in the last couple of days, been running schematics, but I can't think of any reason why it would be nerfed. Will try it later.
It sounds like you know this already, but pay attention to which stats matter for what subcomponent, and use the best you can, even if it costs you a pretty credit. To get in the 40+ range, my resources are OQ 990+ for the subs, and CD 990+ for the final. The hard one to get high is the MSS with CD 66% / OQ 33% and the DSS with CD 50% / OQ 50%.
There is a good thread around here that give examples on making the stations, but I think you've got the hang of it.

You're using *all* the optional subcomponents, right? You can't break into the magic heights without them, and as has been stated above, you'll need them all to be the best possible quality you can get.

The micro sensor suite is the key I have found. Even though its an artisan component its experimental effectivness matters.
I'm running with 97% Control Units (?)
87% Micro Sensor suits and CD999 coppper... for a final rating of 42.16
