Thread: Furniture: What's selling for you guys?

Now that we've all had some time to dig into the numbers for a good while now, what's selling for you guys?
Just regular furniture, no loot, no paintings, no plants, no lights. (They all seem to sell pretty well, mostly)
My best furniture:
The good brass cafe table renamed to "Desk"
Data Terminals
Large Beds
Glass Topped Tables or End Tables
Metal Chairs (not the Squared)
My least selling objects?
The brass endtable and chests. I think I've sold two in a year. Well, until I stopped bothering to stock them.
Oh, yhea, and kitchen chairs.

Well i can tell you what doesnt sell. I go down the list and keep all craftable furnture on my vendors. Im always left with the same 3 items that dont sell. Kitchen Chair, Loveseat(cream), and Square Metal Chairs.

Wow. I'd forgotten completely about the cream love seat. I don't think I ever sold ONE.

Well, as you said lamps/candles/plants sell extrememly well. I'd like to know which of the lamps/candles sell best for you? I cannot keep the tallbirch lamps in stock. I sell 100+ each week. I also sell candles by the crate full. Mostly the Deariac (sp?) sell thebest, then the Bestine candleabra.
But...for the rest of the furniture:
Best Sellers:
Sofa Chair (blue one)
Master Level coffee table
Master Level bookcase
Master Level chair
Round Glass Table
Large Couch (red one)
Curved Couch (yellow one)
Large Bed
Reclining Chair
Worst Sellers:
Kitchen Chair
Droid Detection Devices
I also sell data terms, but I rarely stock them of late. When I put them on the vendor someone ievitably buys them all, then comes back to me asking what they are supposed to do and why they arent working.

I think overall, ALL furniture sell and it's a matter of personal preferenceof the buyer.
It's a given, if you don't have it - it won't sell. At least, if you have it - there's the possibility.
Personally,I don't (usually)craft the following because I don't believe there's much demand for them:
Data Terminals
Desk Lamps
Droid Detection Devices
Tool Chest

I have found its not *what* sells more a case of people *knowing* what they want, and thus what to ask for when ordering.
I've set up a small house next to my house and placed all the items of furniture bar the *master* white things in it and ensured each item has a unique name so that name can be used when ordering.

Glass Top tables and end tables. The yellow, curved couches also sell pretty good. Large houses also do pretty well regardless of planet. People know I stock them and so they come to me.

If it's the one I'm thinking about - cream coloured frame and red armrests, I seem to sell them well. I call them "Corellian Leather Love Seat".
Best sellers:
1.Glass Tables (including the end table)
2. Master Bookcase
3. Large Beds
4.Half Moon shaped sofa
5. Master Chairs / Cafe Table
6. Dining Room Table (and the cafe table that looks like it - but smaller)
Surprise strong sellers: The swoop shaped Loveseat and metal chair that looks like a captains chair - I actually call it "Captain Chair"
- this is from memory, but pretty much all the master furniturearemy best selling compared to their counterparts.
Least sellers:
1. All the red, plain furniture.Once I sell through the ones I have, won't be stocking it anymore
2. I know longer make the square metal chairs (never sold one - Igave awaythe 2 I had in stock to a new player)
3. Kitchenchairs
4. The low end furniture doesn't sell as well as the rest - only keep one or 2 in stock of each
