Brand new to architect, just mastered it on my alt. I was just curious how many architect shops were out there.. as in, Just selling premade architect components in crates? If there are none, or if there are some, what do you all feel is appropriate for prices on walls? What would you pay to buy crates of walls? Looking forward to the feedback. Thanks

I've never seen an architect vendor selling components in any big way, but that doesn't say it's a bad idea.
Like Cafa I also buy walls, although the folks I've bought them from were novice architects selling hand-made walls to keep themselves in cash.
I don't know that you'll make a big profit doing this, but maybe I'm wrong. You need to think about what *value* you are providing to your customers. Typically that means finding out what their "pain" point is and addressing that.
For example, Architects have some challenges:
- getting enough resources not only to fill orders, but to keep a smooth production of final product going
- factory time to make components
- juggling multiple batches of different components against multiple production runs of final product
Unless you are very well known and trusted, people probably aren't going to buy any "mining components" (e.g., Ore Mining Units, Fluidic Drilling Pumps) from you, because quality matters there.
For some other components (e.g., small system structure modules), anyone who is producing harvesters in factories will want to make sure they get a *LARGE* batch of them from you to ensure a large run.
So big architects will buy walls from you, and smaller architects may buy smaller runs of common components.
Try it and let us know how it works.

Lowca has a couple architect supply companies. They deal in selling structure module crates, generator turbine crates, and the like. They are charging 2 cpu, plus 20% to pay for markup and factory costs. I would think it could be a decent market to niche in. I know personally, I hate making all those sub components, so I bought 50 crates of generator turbines from a architect supply, so I wouldnt have to worry about them for a while.

I wish there were more architect shops available on Chilastra. I've been through my share of wall suppliers, although I've come across one supplier that offers then to me at *great* prices and provides very prompt service. He hasn't let me down once. Of course, I'm not going to give out his name, because he's my gem for the time being! hehehe I usually order 100-200 walls every few days from him.
I would like to see more shops though, selling not only walls, but vendors selling structure modules, structure storage modules, and especially generator turbines. Next to walls, I can't hold onto enough generator turbines.
I don't see a whole lot of artisian shops either. I'd like to see more selling control units, power conditioners, energy distributors, etc. I hate making Power Core Units too!
Damn, is there anything I like to make? Oh yeah... money. hehe

I do this on Tempest. I would say most of my business comes from custom orders, aka 1000 generator turbines and the like.
Since I had a house go poof from the maintenance bug I lost alot of resources, but life goes on
, I like doing this alot, its a nice niche market, cause I know I hated making subcomponents as an architect.

I'm spending my time right now stocking up and trying to build a business, but if there's one thing that is DRIVING ME NUTS it's the subcomponents. I'd kill for a steady supply of power cores, once I get a stable cash flow. Odds and ends like wooly hides and synthetic cloth wouldn't hurt my feelings either.
If I'd realized how much of a pain that stuff was, I'd have marketed crates galore of it after I made MArtisan. But the only architects in the guild didn't want to buy their components when I was working up, so I I thought no one did.
