I built 2 structure stations, one with 5 droid storage compartments and one with none. Neither have anything on the radial for storage. But both opena storage window when I target and type /open. I acn not drag any inventory items into the storage compartments tho.

My questions are why do both stations have storage compartments when I only made one of them with droid storage compartments, and why can't I put items in it?

To put items in the input hoppers, stand near the station and open a specialized crafting tool - On the resource selection, there will be a tab for 'input hopper' - Just open that tab, and drag stuff from your inventory into the hopper, then close the tool.

As a side note, resources DO stay in the hopper when you move the crafting station, and as of this new patch, resources in the hopper DO count against the item limit in the house.
