Thread: Once again the Devs worship the Combat characters and totally ignore Crafters
Every Combat class is acknowledged, yet not ONE SINGLE CRAFTERPROFESSION is even mentioned!
Devs, thank you for giving us yet more evidence about how you truely feel about people who do not constantly run around and kill creatures.

I have to agree with you Knocky. It is a direct slap in the face for each of us. We are not worth even mentioning. Many of the Architect issues effect other classes also and we were apparently the only ones who mentioned them. Thos are ignored as well as not even a post saying "kiss my **edit***" from the devs.
I'm happy wiht the reports on the Pistoleer claas since I am working on Master Pistoleer. But I am already a Master Artisan and working on Master Architect. Does that not matter at all?
I'm beginning to think I should have gone pure combat and said the hell with trying to do something different in this game from all the others I have played.

They probably just haven't gotten to it yet, I'm sure. They said they would update us on all professions. Be patient, we'll get our response, probably today. If we don't, I'll be cranky, slighty cranky. That's right...you heard me...slightly cranky.
I would like to agree with you. But by looking at the time stamps you can see that every post was copy and pasted in the early afternoon (their time). Why could they not even give us a general snubing? Something simple like "Yeah we know you crafters exist" but we do not even get that much from them.
Either way, even if they do list Crafter concerns today...who did they talk to first?

That's a good point. I just don't want to be sound alarmist so that when they dogive us our updateand I look back at this post, it doesn't seem like I was flying off the handle. Either way, when I read the recent devs posts, I felt exactly the same way you did.
It is easy to fly off the handle, Hell Q already said in the old boards he was more concerned with Combat characters than crafters.
I am tired of being the lesser son damnit!!!
Hey, look what I found. We're not forgotten.
"I've put up the replies for all the combat correspondents. The answers to the other professions are written, but some high level people asked to review them so they will likely not get posted tonight. I'll push to get the final versions ASAP. They should be posted by the end of the day tomorrow if not sooner. Again I apologize about the time this is taking to return feedback. The designers are already working on (or have fixed) many of the issues. The feedback loop is just taking longer than we (and you) would like. This process will get better as soon as we hire our assistant community relations manager who will be stationed in Austin and will bug the designers as much as the producers will allow. Thanks to Xahn for flying out to Texas last week to handle this so far. "
I have to admit it is beginning to make me wonder why I'm doing all this. Here I am working my **edit** off to make it to Master architect and I hear the prices on everything I can make are STILL falling. It appears that I would be better served to sell my resources to my Weaponsmith friend so he can grind his way to master. Since teh resources are woth more than the finished product for an Architect. I can devote all those points to somthing that C-3PO likes like Marksman or Bounty Hunter.
They PROMISED to update everyone yesterday. They updated everyone who matters yesterday. They did not even bother to mention that we were low man on the totem pole. WHY? Because we don't appear to matter.
I am just blowing off steam folks, but I also am truly insulted by our treatment. I don't intend to quit, and I do intend to finish out my Master Architect. I'm just not sure if I will keep the class after I finish him. If things are as bleak as many of you masters tell me, then It may at that point be time to move on to another class or another game.
Thanks Kaeil, you have given me hope.

You have a point Waste but I would feel better just knowing that I need to change professions or quit the game. It's the ignoring that REALLY annoys me.
And add insult to injury it looks like they will not likely answer any of our concerns before tomorrow at the best. With all the screwups with this patch they are never going to have time to respond today. And it looks like I'm pretty much screwed as far as crafting goes tonight. Since I can't store anything in my house and if I pick anything up I will have to carry it until this is fixed.
Aren't patches supposed to fix problems???
